Off course Nigeria has everything it takes for a country to be rich, we all know it,
But it’s still worst than devil to live in Nigeria, Yes someone can say that, because he or she has access to national Cake, what about those, what about those that their generation have never and will never, and they’re dieing in abstract poverty unless someone in their family break out and travel to Europe, that where they will see the light of success,
YES, there’s inclusion but
How many disabled on the have ever been called,
There’s right,.
People are dieing in hunger,
Yes, Nigeria is better than Europe,
I believe it, but can’t work for me as a nobody,
Europe is a city for the NOBODY’S
Where they’re make it not in Nigeria
wow! I strongly disagree with your points, but let me ask you a simple Question; will you rather choose to he a slave, nany, or even a security ma/woman in a strange country and be treated like a second class citizen OR become a CEO of your own and be treated like a king/queen?…….. I guess you know the answer to that……..
In Europe and America they have we call, Racial Discrimination
Here, what we meant by racial discrimination is just that most of the foreign countries there are always a differentiation between the black and the White people (Nigerian and foreigners) and they give priority most to their white people.
You can never see why a Nigerian will be their Director general or even heading the uniform officers. While sort of things are not happening in Nigeria once you have citizen certificate and you’re qualify for the post you would be given/select. But eyinbo people always consider their children for a professional job than giving it out to a Nigerian, so you rarely secure a good professional job in foreign country except for maid, servant and domestic workers.
Tell them, I wonder how loose some people will be ,staying in a country with alot of resources yet nothing to show for, chai!!! Country with senseless old men, country with illiterate as a Leader, none of them are graduates, Watch Europe, let them goggle more about Europe and them goggle about Nigeria, even goggle the last time I checked is disappointed with Nigeria updates, tufiakwa, what a dormant country .
Its a must for you to pay tax if you relocate to Either Europe or America, even its a big offense for you to owe tax. They may jail you for not paying tax but in Nigeria, tax levy has limit.
Another one is;
Security Threat to non- indigene ;
Yes, in foreign countries there is a suspicious to every moving about of non indigene. There is a tendency that security agents can harass or challenge you at any time, anywhere. Which is not done in Nigeria. Also if anything happens the first suspect will be Nigerian.
Do I hear you say security threat to unindigene in Europe, wow!! Interesting, that’s to show their security are tight, they are protecting their citizen and even unindigene in their country, insecurity has raised a standard kidnapping in Nigeria,my dear, insecurity in Nigeria waste alot of souls yet not found by family members. Can you as a citizen of Nigeria walk freely nor travel far place without consuming the blood of Jesus anyhow until you reach your Destination, the answer is No.
So why not you embrace a good living in Europe.
Well I can’t watch you demonized the spirit of my listener who have it in mind to travel to Europe soon.
*All protocol duly observe.*
Living in abroad is preferable to Living in Nigeria.
1.Ethnic difference, Nigeria leadership appointment is basically on sectionalism and favoritism,it is all about tribalism,if not for my brother nobody rules, but in *Abroad* is all about unity.
2.Language, in abroad you will be able to learn a second language if interested unlike Nigeria,is only your mother tongue and English only.
3.Financial benefits, one can save alot of money living abroad, because any hour you spent on each work is been paid for but here in Nigeria at times you will work till month ends, still beg for your salary to be paid, infact you will end up owning alot of people before the money is paid.
4.Better opportunities,Most individuals who live abroad have incredible stories to tell about, all things they’ve experienced, all is about fun, they have time for themselves, not here in Nigeria, when you remember that the cost of living is more than your income (not favourable),you won’t have interest for fun again.
Well, Nigeria is like a second hell. Every government that comes in changes the country to his suitable rules ,force citizens to abide to it, who wants to stay in a country where power supply is like thing of play,NEPA takes light as if is were life lies, insecurity every where, were people lives in fear, having old men who suppose to be in their retirement as a Leader. Abroad base is a fun filled with happiness. Thanks
Blessing Hosea Yunana , my opponent asked if there is any CEO abroad who is a Nigeria Citizen? Hmmm
My dear haven’t you heard about Adebayo Ogunlesia a Nigerian Lawyer,he is currently chairman and managing partner and American inve bank,Global infrastructure partner and the CEO of city Airport in UK even acquired a majority stake in London Gatwick Airport in a deal worth 1.455billion Euro.
I now ask you my opponent why didn’t he establish all this things in your country Nigeria?
You keep confusing yourself and others who listens to you by saying that they gave Nigerians over there only nanny, security and cleaning jobs, I asked you again, are they not paid?
Most of this cleaners ride expensive cars when they come back here in Nigeria, how many cleaners, security nor nanny who works here in Nigeria ride bicycle talk more of car, my dear no dey deceive my listeners who wants to leave this God forsaken damn country Nigeria.
Let me also tell you about…… Returnee Nigerians (those tired of leaving affect life in abroad)……. are Liars
Many Nigerians return from the west with all types of clothes, new cars, and begin building homes in their villages. They create the illusion that they’ve ‘made it’, and use their return to flaunt their ‘wealth’ instead of helping their brethren. This is a lie. Don’t believe them. These people know 2-3 years in advance they’re going to Nigeria. It’s then that they begin saving the money they will use to show off for December. I’ve know many that go to the bank and acquire loans so that they can buy objects they’ll use to fake as if they’re rich in Nigeria. Many will neglect their bills and debts so that they can keep up the image of someone that is rich in Nigeria. Many of the people who return back to Nigeria flaunting are poor people.
but they will behave as if they’re Donald trump upon returning. This creates a false image that everyone in the Europe and America, or even the majority of people have a lot of money. It’s a lie. This is a very expensive place to live and most people are modest.
My dear one word for you before I go to bed, if you don’t have money you can’t flaunt money, you can’t flaunt what you don’t have, so my dear those coming back from Europe made their money, if it is easy make Nigeria workers flaunt money small.
Let me take a break for now.
My sister let me let you knw that The Richest Nigerians are in Nigeria
As i said the place to look for wealth isn’t in a new land. By the time you’re done learning the customs and way things work here you’ll be 50. You know Nigeria, you know the way it works, though few want to admit it you can make it in Nigeria. The richest nigerians in the world are from Nigeria, and don’t bother themselves with the Europe and Ameria If you look at somebody like Dangote, Adenuga etc you will see they have one devious but consistent thing in common: connections to those in power. As a black person, and more importantly a Nigeria, you have to understand those in power are white and have no business bothering themselves with you. At least in Nigeria you can climb the social ladder more freely, you can’t here. To become rich in America you need a great idea, something nobody has ever done before like an invention or a service and it has to make sense to the demand. If you have one of these….you’ll make it in Nigeria as well
There is also what is called Cultural Challenges: The transition between moving from one’s motherland, where most of the cultural beliefs, perspectives, and mindsets were formed, to a foreign land isn’t utterly soothing. Most Nigerians move abroad, and they experience a cultural shock. They collide with cultural differences, and they witness the extremes that exist between their own inbuilt culture and their newfound home. The culture shock that most Nigerian indigene experience abroad makes adapting difficult. This experience may leave them confused, anxious, lonely, irritated, and uncertain. In the same vein, individuals experience language and communication barriers.
If you want to be rich AVOID Europe. The reason is because this is the land of the middle class. Going to school and working hard is going to land you in the middle class. You will live in a modest home, drive a modest car, and be able to cloth and feed yourself well. This is no riches……
Christiana Nyam if we have all it takes to build Nigeria, why haven’t Nigeria be built yet, how old is Nigeria, and how old is other African countries, take a look at Ghana ,a country under Nigeria attaching from them,is now a country where our brothers and sisters now run to, who freedom of speech help, this freedom of speech has cause alot of taboo in our country, where you will see a child talks to an adult anyhow, police will shot a fellow citizens and still takes his family to shut up,my dear hold your freedom of speech and give me good life, after all good life doesn’t enslave one, rather this freedom of speech have enslave us, we that has freedom of speech can’t even tell our president that what he is doing isn’t good for the masses, freedom of speech my foot, imagine a president slipped down on parade during speech on democracy day, when the freedom of speech speakers(citizens) spoke about him, he said he dey great, freedom of speech with lies, my dear, Nigeria is not a helping country, country that is indirectly divided into two., Nigeria and Biafara , two national anthem, two 1000naira note, two 500naira notes, two 200naira notes, two democracy day May 30 and June 12, my sister I tire.
Am still standing on existing protocol and dully observe,am still Chidi Covenant, still in my word that Living in abroad is preferable to Living in Nigeria.
Have you asked yourself why do Nigerians, even your so called leaders travel abroad with their kids to study? All because the Nation wasn’t built, disorganized and economic reasons, some say they migrate to seek greener pastures,is there no greener pastures in your country ? Or Nigerians no get standard University for your leaders to enroll their kids,? they know what they are avoiding, yet they want the masses to call the so country Nation.
Covenant Covey, Let me tell you something a lots of them may no tell you, the challenges and the disadvantages of it,
Even if you have simply relocated across the country or to another state, studying away from home can be challenging. So take into account how much harder it might be to study in a location far from your home and in a nation that is very different from what you are used to.
High Price
The cost of tuition is frequently greater for international students. Additionally, you might not be eligible for the same student loans as you would be at home.
And talking about standard University I believe you are we educated which I can tell you are, where did you obtained the knowledge from…….. “NIGERIA”
Here in Nigeria we don’t just teach knowledge but morals that’s why we are excelling …

Blessing Hosea Yunana so finally you talk about high cost, whereas Nigeria na baba in high cost of things including tuition.
Well let me announce to you that Europe offers affordable tuition fee for international students Nigerians inclusive, Europe offers many educational programs at an affordable cost and sometimes even free, they offer alot of scholarship and funding opportunities with over 16billion Eur, which you see as help for financial aid to offset your tuition costs. So tell me how bad it this? How many students in Nigeria are getting fund from the so called country Nigeria to offset tuition ?
I guess none,not even from a state .
@CHIDI COVENANT,
If you want to be rich AVOID Europe. The reason is because this is the land of the middle class. Going to school and working hard is going to land you in the middle class. You will live in a modest home, drive a modest car, and be able to cloth and feed yourself well. This is no riches……
Middle class people buy everything using loans for the bank. That’s what you have to do in america. You don’t own your home, you don’t own your car, and you have to pay thousands for school after you finish. This is how many Nigerian Americans get ‘trapped’ in the US. Because they are middle class they can’t pay off these loans quickly and it often takes decades to be debt free, but nearly all americans are in debt.

This is why many can’t return as freely as they wish, and why many are dying from stress. In the US it’s difficult to become rich for a black person. If you want to be rich here you start a business and hope it work, but there are so many businesses doing so many things that have been around for literally 100-50 years and are worth billions that it’s hopeless to start because they will easily crush you.
Europe is even worst. Europe is a socialist system with very high taxes that keeps anyone from being too rich or too poor. You will live in comfort in the US and Europe but it’s not a land of ‘wealth’, it’s a land of order and function.
So please if you are thinking of leaving nigeria…. Sit down and reason first. My advice.
Afternoon house, please I want to understand what this debate is all about pls
Welcome back my co-debter and my wonderful readers.
Still the Abroad babe Chidi Covenant 😍😋, e sweet me oo.
Well take a look at this:
Good life in Living in Europe,
Variety of languages,Easy travel, Prosperous economy 😍chai!! , Abundant job opportunities, International climate, Beautiful sights.💃💃💃💃, Europe is said to be a wealthy country, quality of life country in Europe, let’s start with Switzerland,a peaceful country with favourable business opportunities,it has the highest overall life satisfaction recorded in the year 2022, Unlike in Nigeria that we need properly educated people to head this country and not illiterates .
Nigeria as far as am concern continues to face many social and economic challenges that include insecurity such as banditry kidnapping, insurgency by terrorist group in the north-east and separatist agitation in the south-east. In Nigeria 60 percent of Nigerians live below the poverty line, existing on less than a dollar a day, unfair distribution of the country’s oil wealth,as well as political , ethnic and religious conflicts have put s strain on Nigeria society, now tell me, how can this country grow?
If you don’t know how you are blessed, you will think your father’s farm is worse than your friend father’s farm.
Sister …..Forget about all the packaging on social media and give credit to the good life you are living in nigeria I am show you’ve no gone anywhere, you a just brain washed by what you hear and see on social media.
Do you know why Nigerians living in the AMERICA always rush back quickly whenever they come home visiting?
I will tell you why …Because bills are counting and elongated absence (freedom) will put their lives in jeopardy. IT’S a mistake they’ve made and which to correct but becoming too late for them because they have raised their love one’s hope and are leaving with it…….. A life of packaging…
Stop deceiving yourself, who wants to stay in a mess country,?who wants to waste his money in buying fuel cos of no light? Who wants to stay in a smelling city, who wants to be kidnapped by some hoodlums and kept in an uncompleted building until Ramson is given, ? That’s why when they come back to Nigeria from Abroad they will rush back to embrace a good life.
But no matter what a mother will never disown her child………. Nigeria still love them and can come home and receive the blessing of our mother/father land.
Brain washed you said, sorry for you, your leaders have brain washed you and bcos you think you don’t have opportunity to travel abroad that’s why you are busy singing praises to a good for nothing country, let me shock you, 2023 I came back from Australia,am a traveler ,soon I will live you in this your country to Canada, then I will chat you up okay.
Hahahahahah…….🤣🤣🤣Can we have evidence or proof what you just said because I work with proof …… And did you just said Australia?? You are actually deviating from you debate.. wetin join Europe/America with Australia?…… Go and read more before competing ..
Let me even ask you one question where did you study? …… Nothing can replace nigeria😘😘😘
Nothing like deviating I answered based on what you said,by saying that am brain washed, that I didn’t travel, well is not what am in for now, if you like it or not living in abroad is preferable to Living in Nigeria
Blessing Hosea Yunana 🤣🤣🤣🤣 NYSC verification indeed, certificate that later end to a bike man, market women, one is said to be a graduate when you finished and gets a clean, cool payable job, view this country very well, how many graduates are federal nor government worker? Then see alot of undergraduate working in federal sectors, occupy seat for gradautes and graduates are wasting in the street, chai!!! I cry 😭😭😭 for this country, high level of graduate criminals all because of no job, my dear sister, truth they say is bitter, let’s call a spade a spade, this country Nigeria is nothing good to write home about.
You probably don’t know you worth as being a nigerian ……and that’s the problem you think everyone that leaves in EUROPE OR AMERICA has a white collar job?… No……Please wake up to reality and do something better with your life …. Nigerians are full of energy and creativeness.
Nigeria is bless unless you are a lazy type…….😂😂 which are the once causing the problem and thinking is our nation (nigeria).
Goodevening all, welcome back from our few hours break,am still Chid Covenant.
Nigeria despite it’s rich endowment of resources, the nation struggles with staggering levels of poverty, why?
Nigeria as big as they are as a nation encounters bad roads, insecurity,no electricity,no low cost houses,no employment programmes,no street lights on various roads and motorways.
The government doesn’t have time.
Nigerians suffering from bad governance is multifaceted, interring corruption, lack of accountability, insufficient infrastructure, and many more. Nigerians living in UK find life more interesting and less challenging than living in their own country,my dear please embrace the truth.
Good morning everyone
Standing on existing protocol,Let me summarize.
When you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self sacrifice, you may know that your society is doomed.
Confusion in a Headless country, Nigeria where a 14year old cannot be admitted into University to study, but a 13 year old can be married, A school certificate holder cannot become a director in the civil service, but a school sat holder can become president of the entire country. The country is among the major oil producing countries in the world but imports the fuel it consume, the country has the highest number of foreign doctors in the UK and USA,but it’s leaders travel abroad for their medical needs. The country shoots armless protesters, but hold peace parleys with bandits. The country rehabilitates terrorists but their victims Languish in refugee camps,UAE and Qatar are deserts converted to paradise. Nigeria is paradise converted to hell.
Let each of us ponder over this, I rest my case. Thanks
Good morning everyone, and welcome back.
Still standing on the already existing protocols…….
So therefore on this note I will like to bring my points in to conclusion ……..
In conclusion
The path of Nigerians living abroad is a difficult voyage, filled with everything from cultural conflicts to legal minefields, economic hardships, and emotional afflictions. Most people get disconnected from their families, and it eventually causes them to cut their ties with loved ones. Some have to go through the hassle of accepting jobs where they are underpaid. There is a thin line between thriving abroad and struggling abroad. Nonetheless, Nigerians abroad can still have good lives provided the possible ways out are enacted and worked upon.
Always thank God wherever you may find yourself. Nigeria is good and will be better. We praise thee oh Lord for thy goodness in this land of our sojourn where we suffer long.
Long live CEOiam foundation nigeria and
Long live CEO INTERNATIONAL.
God bless Federal Republic of Nigeria Amen and Amenn
